1.About this policy

This policy explains which cookies the Barbell Studio website uses and why. It is published by Barbell Studio, Strada Pătlaginei 18, Bucharest — for any question, write to contact@barbellstudio.ro.

The short version: we use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies here.

2.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you are signed in. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called first-party cookies; cookies set by other services embedded in the page are third-party cookies.

3.The cookies we use

All cookies on this site are strictly necessary — the site cannot work properly without them:

CookiePurposeDuration
authjs.session-tokenKeeps you signed in to your accountUp to 30 days
authjs.csrf-tokenProtects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF)Browser session
authjs.callback-urlRemembers where to send you back after signing inBrowser session
languageRemembers your language choice (English or Romanian)1 year
Cloudflare TurnstileTells humans and bots apart on the contact formSet by Cloudflare

In production the cookie names can carry a __Secure- or __Host- prefix — a browser security feature, not a different cookie.

4.What we don't use

  • No analytics cookies — we do not measure your behavior on the site.
  • No advertising cookies — we show no ads and feed no ad networks.
  • No cross-site tracking — we do not follow you around the web.

Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary, the site works the same whichever option you pick in the cookie banner. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask for your consent first and honour the choice you saved.

5.Local storage

Besides cookies, we keep one small setting in your browser's local storage: the choice you made in the cookie banner. It never leaves your device.

6.Third-party services

  • Cloudflare Turnstile runs on the contact page to keep bots out and may set its own cookie, governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Card payments are handled on NETOPIA Payments' own secure page: you leave our site to enter your card details, so no payment provider cookies are set here. Any cookies set there are governed by NETOPIA's privacy policy.

7.How to control cookies

Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies — look for the Privacy or Cookies section in the settings of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. You can also change the choice you made in our cookie banner at any time, using the panel at the bottom of this page.

Keep in mind: deleting or blocking our cookies signs you out and can make signing in impossible, since they are what keeps your session secure.
